Does the Blu-U acne treatment work?

I was wondering if the blue light acne treatment works well for moderately severe acne. My face usually gets better during the summer when I'm in the sun a lot so does this mean this will act like the sun and exfoliate all the bacteria and oils?
I have heard that this treatment does make it worse for some people
