I have this pain outside my left ear when i touch it it hurts and it feels like a lump i have been to my doctors but they said it nothing worry about but when i move my neck it hurts and i cant sleep on that side as it very painful when i go to touch the ear it very painful as well it feels like a lump but it quite a large area outside my ear on my face. The left side of my face feels swollen than my right. Could any one give me some advice on what to do as my doctor said there nothing to worry about but i am worried i have been to see the doctor twice and this problem has been ongoing for the past couple of weeks.

When a doctor tells you there is nothing to worry about - he is probably right.
It's up to you to press him for more details.
I can conceive of a few things but can't put online cause you'd have to be seen for a real diagnosis.
However I can hint to you that if you tell your pharmacist the symptoms , show him the places, & tell him the doctor said was not a worry ~~ but it hurts --- I think he/she may have a product not needing a prescription that will help.
