I am 25 and my girlfriend Stephanie is 24. I love her to death and we have been dating for 8 years, but 3 weeks ago I kind of got into a motorcycle accident I mean I am fine now. Stephanie is just always nervous when I go out to ride. She lost her twin brother to an accident ( motorcycle) 3 years ago (I am lucky she even let's me still ride). She much rather me play lacrosse or football again. Problem is she doesn't want me to ride and I promised 2 of my friends I would go dirt biking with them tomorrow, I mean what am I going to say " Steph won't allow me to go?" that just makes her look bad because she usually always let's me do whatever (we live together). I know she is nervous because of Sean's accident and her dad passing away 2 weeks ago and her little sister in the hospital for chemo, but I am very careful. What should I do?

Your girlfriend is going through a lot in her life. She lost her brother in a motorcycle accident, her father passed away, and her sister has health problems. It's too much pain for her to bare. I think she's afraid of losing you to an accident. You should tell her not to worry and that everything will be okay. You should try to be there for her and support her in her time of need.
